Theater for the New City Presents Phallic Fables: A Rabelaisian Epic by Walter Corwin with music by Arthur Abrams, Directed by Jonathan Weber. Playing May 1 to May 18, 2008.

Two of the three plays were first presented at the La MaMa Experiments Series.

The program consists of three plays: "The Women Strike," inspired by Aristophanes, is set in the future when the Supreme Court has struck down Roe vs. Wade and women decide to stop sleeping with men. "Ménage à Trois" is a comedy about the end of the world. "Cloning Around*" takes place at a time when cloning has become the only known way of reproducing.

*Please Note: "Cloning Around" will only perform at Sunday Matinees.
