The art exhibit explores concepts and issues of “El Sueno”-Latino Dreams in the LES in painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media and text by Latino Artists who live and or work in the Lower East Side. The story of Latino immigration into the Lower East Side of New York is a compelling story-one of many dreams and the actual reality that have had a major impact on the culture not only of the vital eclectic culture of the Lower East Side, but New York City and the entire country. Theater for the New City, Art Loisaida Foundation, Charas, GOLES,and LESPI invite you to join us for our celebration of Latino Culture in the LES.

Opening Reception: Wednesday, November 13th, 5:30-8pm
Performance by: Miguel Kiki Cortos, Light Refreshments served

ABOUT THE GALLERY
TNC Gallery is one of the largest and oldest alternative gallery spaces in lower Manhattan. Its 2,000 square feet of wall space is located in the Theater for the New City. The 25-year-old TNC Gallery continues the commitment TNC's founder Crystal Field made to make it a center for the convergence of visual and performing arts.
