THREE OF A KIND, WITH TWO WILD CARDS
In this full house...nothing is what it seems...
A generic couple struggling to be mutually understood. A couple of patients waiting for deliverance. A pair of janitors meeting a pair of lawyers. Two women in a tense standoff playing a deadly card game.
"Three of a Kind, with Two Wild Cards" is a series of four one act plays ("Generically Speaking", "Waiting for Goodreau", "Out of Order" and "The Caregiver") with overlapping characters. Equal parts sketch comedy, melodrama, juggled timelines and theater of the absurd, this new work by writer/director Robert Homeyer explores the variety of ways in which human beings discover their own identity...or have it forced upon them by circumstances beyond their control.
The cast features Robert Homeyer, Steph van Vlack, Aristotle Stamat, Oliver Thrun, Matthew Angel, Mark Lang, Kim Vogels and Lissa Moira*.
The crew includes Tashika Futch (stage manager), Mark Marcante (set/lighting design), Lytza Colon (costumes and properties), Roy Chang (sound design), Angela Harriell (choreographer) and Peter Welch (production photographer).
